INNISFREE INDIVIDUAL PROGRAMS

 

Everyone who comes to Innisfree has a different reason for being here and no matter what that is, we will design a program to help you achieve the balance in life you deserve. The length of time you stay with us will depend on your specific situation, needs and desired outcomes.

 

When you are assessed, we will be able to gauge how deeply entrenched your patterns and behaviors are, allowing us to recommend the type of program and length of stay suitable for you. Whilst we prefer people to stay with us for 28 days to ensure full transformational response and long-term behavioral change, we do offer a minimum of 5 day stays to work in with your lifestyle.

 

We understand that your time here will be challenging on many levels but we encourage you to see it as a holiday from your stressful life. It is normal to experience feelings of separation and loneliness from your work and loved ones but imagine giving them the benefit of a more productive, loving you!

A typical day is designed around the Chinese Chi Cycle or energy in your body. With an early start in the morning, you will experience the gentle but physical exercise of Qi Gong, Tai Chi and Transformational Weight Training.

 

This is followed by a nutritious breakfast which leads on to the therapies you will receive for the day; you may start with seeing our resident Traditional Chinese Doctor for a physical assessment of your energy levels. You will either be prescribed acupuncture or Chinese medicine to aid your start. We then may have you to see our resident psychologist/psychotherapist or one of our other therapists which specialise in their modality, to help you begin uncovering and understanding the patterns you have created.

 

Each therapist confers with the other so that your program can be as organic as the process itself and therefore the natural therapies/therapists you experience will have a clear understanding of what has been uncovered from the previous session.

 

All therapists are client centered and focused on your experience being confidential & safe. We go at a pace comfortable for you, offering encouragement when you are faced with difficult challenges.

 

After a satisfying lunch, you may either have quiet time or take some time to read, journal or reflect on your morning sessions. This will be followed by meditation to keep you calm and relaxed.

 

The afternoon sees creative therapies like yoga and transpersonal art therapy.

 

Dinner is served around 6.30pm and you will then have free time for yourself. More than likely, you will probably want to go to bed early so you are ready for the next day.

 

Each Individual Program has a Focus on Diet, Nutrition & Natural Supplements

 

We believe food is very important as you go through your process of transformation as it allows the physical body to become stronger and you will feel the benefits of all those nutrients running through your system. It is essential to your wellbeing to be nurtured and fed well. 

 

Each day your diet will consist of wonderful wholesome freshly prepared nutritious meals that will aid in your recovery. Our in house chefs are only too happy to speak to you regarding your dietary requirements and liaise with our practitioners to ensure your diet is designed to suit your constitution and complement your therapies.

 

Natural supplements such as vitamins and minerals are included in your treatment plan and monitored by our naturopath and traditional chinese medicine doctor.
